I have had these scales for a few weeks now and i was getting eager to start this restoration. When i found these Salter Scales they where just lying under a table as seen in the opening scene, They were very tired looking and missing the bowl which i found on a return visit to the Reclamation a few weeks later. This is my first attempt at restoring some scales and until removing the front cover i had no idea how they worked other than they had springs inside. This project has taken me alot longer than anticiapted which is partly due to the time wasted on removing Rust and screws which had to be drilled out and re tapped. This is a hobby for me which I enjoy doing in my spare time.
