Day 5 - April Vlogs - Little Drops of Wonderful

Day 5 - April Vlogs - Little Drops of Wonderful Welcome to Day 5 of my attempt to vlog every day in April! Today I spend a LOT of time rambling in my car. get a new phone and make pizza!

For those looking for the shopping bag pattern from Day 1 it's here -

For those looking for the banana bread/cake recipe from Day 2, here it is:
Ingredients:
- 2, 3 or 4 mediumsize ripe or over-ripe bananas
40ml corn oil
3 eggs
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla essence
200g soft brown sugar (I find it can work with less sugar when I am feeling virtuous)
325g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
Handful of choc chips/chunks (optional)
Demerera sugar (for sprinkling on top)

Method:
- Preheat oven to 180c (350f) and lightly oil a loaf tin or a baking tin - I sometimes use a large square tin, about 25x25cm. I also line the bottom with one strip of greaseproof paper to make it easier to lift it out after baking.
- Mash the bananas and then stir in the oil, eggs, lemon juice, vanilla and sugar.
- Fold in the flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda.
- Pour into the prepared tin.
- Sprinkle the top with demerera sugar.
- Bake for 40 to 60 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. I find 40 minutes when baking in a tray/tin, and at least 60 when baking in a loaf tin.

- Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee, and even with a spread of Nutella!

(My channel is about crochet, knitting, yarn, crafts and all the good stuff. I live in Kent, in the UK, with my long-suffering husband and my 2 delightful daughters.)

I hope you enjoy my April Vlogs.
