Another pre-recession indicator is flashing. Job openings took the biggest drop in roughly 4 years. This indicator tends to foreshadow the uptick in unemployment. Unemployment numbers usually lag the job losses and other data as the economy enters recession. Some blame is being put on the mandatory minimum wage laws that are hurting small businesses on a larger scale verses large corporations. Links to news sources discussed in the video are posted here:
