Bill Ooms is a prolific ornamental turner and artist whose work has been prominently featured in both AAW and Ornamental Turners International publications. Bill has freely shared his innovative software, developed to support computer modeling of complex turnings using traditional rose engine rosettes and cutting frames. This software can also produce G-code for those interested in using CNC machining.
In this presentation Bill uses the software to demonstrate modeling techniques, using a mix of rosette patterns and cutting frames to cut patterns on a 3D shape.
