Following the World Health Organisation guidelines that recommended the vaccination of pre teen girls against cervical cancer, the program was rolled out in primary schools. But since then, it has faced resistance from parents who seemed ignorant about the vaccine. But as the parents are being sensitized, a new set of detractors has reportedly set in to decampaign the cause. Sheilah Nakabuye tells the story.
