Naira Marley's mother burst into tears as son appear in Court, remanded till May 30

Azeez Fashola, Nigerian musician better known as Naira Marley was on Tuesday arraigned at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos…He is being charged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on his alleged involvement with advance fee fraud.Naira Marley arrived the court premises at 9:46am .. The musician who is wearing a white tee shirt and black trousers looked subdued as he was led into the dock.Mild drama ensued when his mother on sighting him burst into uncontrollable tears while family members who accompanied her tried to pacify her.The proceeding was however stood down upon commencement due to the absence of the defence team.One of the defence counsels for Naira Marley, Taiwo Oreagba is currently on ground.
The fraud case of Azeez Fashola, popularly known by his stage name, Naira Marley, has been adjourned till may 30, 2019.
The musician appeared before the Federal High Court in Lagos, where he pleaded not guilty to all 11 charges bordering on fraud and cybercrime.The singer charged by the EFCC will remain in custody till next hearing.
