Trying to start a discussion on what ACTUALLY constitutes value in NBA basketball. To this point, we've all looked at it in terms of static numbers, but what if there's more to it? It's a team game right? How does the pursuit of personal productivity affect the team? Is all productivity added, actually adding value? Are there diminishing returns? Is it better to let "lesser" teammates do more, to help them improve? Or even to just use total team value more efficiently?
