Thousands of Shia Muslims had taken out a jaloos or procession to mark the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali in Lucknow on May 27. A stray bull ran into the crowd injuring two dozen people.
Many devotees tried to control the bull, which ran away on its own after a while.
