Well, TMZ published an entire receipt stating that the medical examiner stated that Precious died from cocaine toxicity.
T.I. was not happy with this information and blasted TMZ for attempting to profit off of people’s pain. T.I. feels that TMZ is attempting to tarnish his sister legacy and suggested a boycott.
TMZ did remove the article about an hour after it was posted but you know once something is online it never goes away.
So TMZ did their retraction but did not dispute the findings of the medical examiner's report. The went on to discuss her contributions to the community.
I can understand why T.I. and his family did not want this information released. However, we all have a past.
Her contribution to her family and community should outweigh everything else.
Go ahead and comment below. Do you think TMZ was right for publishing her medical examiner's findings? Do you think T.I. should be angry over this information being reported? I am sure the wound from his sister passing is still fresh. Was the information reported inaccurate? If there was a lie told then yes he should be angry. Is he more embarrassed than angry? Some people will say this should have remained private. I do not know if a medical examiners report is a private document.
I can say this: no one is going to boycott TMZ. TMZ has been publishing gossip w/receipts for at least a decade and we all know people like a gossip rag with a good receipt.
See you in the next video.
