This Was A Really Bad Idea (Netflix's She-ra Season 2 Episode 6 Review)

We finally get some lore and backstory in this episode but it left us with more questions than answers. On top of that, it doesn't seem like it was integrated properly into what we've already gotten in the show. Who knew Glimmer had such a personal connection to Shadowweaver? Why wouldn't the showrunners use that to full effect in order to tell a compelling story?

Adora also officially has no connection to the Eternian Royal family since Hordak just found her in some village. He doesn't have the ability to transcend dimensions yet so that's disappointing. She really is just an orphan girl. Hopefully, we'll be surprised and something else will be revealed? But we probably shouldn't get our hopes up.
