Weather Events 2019 - Spectacular lightning shows put on across the UK - BBC News - 19th June 2019

The UK saw dazzling lightning displays across the country as the rain keep falling and thunderstorms cross towns and cities. The seaside town of Eastbourne, saw 1,000 in just one hour alone. Even the police said they had not seen anything like it, in this edit.
