Jackfruit As A Meat Substitute? How Convincing Is It? TASTE TEST!

We're on a "non-meat meat" kick, can you tell?

We decided that since we've tried the Beyond Meat burger patty (check out our video on that while you're at it!), maybe we should branch out and see what else our vegetarian pals have been raving about lately...

So we looked around and landed on jackfruit. That's right, jackfruit is the cool new kid in town when it comes to (especially specifically vegan) meat-like substitutes. You might see jackfruit as a filling for a taco, smothered in barbecue sauce a la pulled pork, or even in chili...

We chose to try it in a curry, and in a "crabless crab cake" where it poses as seafood.

But does it mimic meat? Watch and find out!!!

As seasoned and enthusiastic meat eaters, we think we are qualified to judge!
