15 Reasons Anime Is Definitely Not Just For Kids

15 Reasons Anime Is Definitely Not Just For Kids There are many different types of anime and some are definitely not meant for kids. Here are some reasons why! Subscribe to our channel:

If you’re a fan of anime we probably don’t have to tell you that this medium is definitely not for kids sometimes. If you stop to think of it, there really are tons of adult themes and terrifying creatures which small children should definitely avoid. We’ll talk about some of the toxic relationships we’ve seen in shows like My Hero Academia and Deathnote and explain why they definitely aren’t couples goals. There are also some pretty terrifying animated monsters out there, including ones from pretty child-friendly flicks like Spirited Away. If you think No Face’s meltdown is scary just wait until you see these creatures from Berserk.

Then there is the content which is just too sad for most kids to deal with. And we’re talking about absolute tragedies including Grave of the Fireflies here. There are also some great shows that tackle interesting and morally ambiguous quandaries including Tokyo Ghoul. And of course we’ll talk about some of our favorite over the top inappropriate moments from shows like Cowboy Bebop. Even shows marketed towards children like Yu Gi Oh and Naruto have some surprisingly dark moments and characters.

We’ve named just a few of the many, many, many, shows and movies out there that may not be suitable for kids. Which one of them is your favorite and what makes it less than kid-friendly?
