What is Triangle?
Closed geometry of 3 sides is called triangle.
Parameters of Triangle
Two main parameters 1st is Side & 2nd is Angle
Triangle consists of a total of 3 sides & 3 angles.
Types of triangle
Based on the side & angle we have three - three types of triangle.
(1) Equilateral triangle
(2) Isosceles triangle
(3) Scalene triangle
(4) Acute angle triangle
(5) Right angle triangle
(6) Obtuse angle triangle
What is Trigonometry?
A relation between the sides & angles of the triangle is called Trigonometry.
Or
Measurement of a triangle is called Trigonometry.
Trigonometric Ratios
With 3 sides & 3 angles, we have a total of 6 Trigonometric relations
sin, cos, tan, cosec, sec & cot
This 6 relation are called Trigonometric ratios (TR's).
