Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has informed that the government has increased the compensation amount for flood affected people as compared to previous years. While distributing cheques to affected in Ponda taluka, Sawant has disclosed that the minimum amount paid is ₹ 10 thousand which was earlier on ₹ 2 thousand.
