Electric scooters have invaded the streets of several European cities, and now they're headed to the UK. But recent accidents and the death of Youtuber Emily Hartridge has highlighted the dangers with the self-propelled scooters. Companies such as Lime and Bird advocate its safe use and allow costumers to rent out their scooters by the minute. Currently this is restricted to private property in London as the electric scooters are illegal on public roads. But plans to change to laws and allow scooters on our roads have caused concern
