This is the 20th Episode of The Cheesecake Challenge!!! As such, I wanted to go back to one of my seminal influences in writing & creation. From the pages that fired my imagination, setting my creative juices aflame, from then until this very moment. I speak of the pulps, but in specific, the world Edgar Rice Burroughs first crafted over a hundred years ago, the world of Barsoom, or better know on our planet as Mars. Barsoom is a tableau of endless exotic adventure, swashbuckling heroes, gorgeous princesses, dastardly villains, monsters & horrors aplenty. This world birthed from the minds it inspired a thousand other worlds & universes, and tonight we give honor to the spirit of ERB & John Carter, Dejah Thoris, & the mysterious dying world of Barsoom!
