Why we are different or how we make videos:
Foxy is a channel that is driven by two people - one editor (Foxy) and one narrator (Zero).
Making these videos takes around 11 hours every day...
1. Original commentary.
It consists of writing a script for each video to add our original audio commentary, picking up the best viewers comments and to finally record a narration. By doing this we create unique meaning in video, and help viewer understand what's happening in current video.
Writing a script, choosing comments and recording our audio commentary daily takes about 2 hours of work.
2. Moments selection and permission
We choose moments from our submision form where viewers submit their clips with permission and agreement to use/monetize these clips in our videos. We have all the rights to use this content on our channel. We get around a hundred new submissions everyday, a lot of viewers send us their best VRChat moments to future them in our videos.
So looking through hundreds of clips and picking up the best and relevant submissions daily takes about 3 hours
3. Transforming, adjusting clips
This is the most important part of our daily work. Editor cuts and trims moments so video will be engaging, entertaining and without useless and boring parts that add zero value to the current video. We doing this so viewer will not be lost or bored while watching this video. Usually each moment have only a few important seconds of a clip, and these important seconds are the reason why we choose these submission clips. Around sixty to seventy precents of a clip have zero value to the current video so we cut it out and keep this little important part that is entertaining, engaging and add value to the current video. But this also means that we need to watch a lot more clips to create highly entertaining and engaging content.
To cut out, adjust and trim clips that we've collected, it takes us about 3 hours of daily work for each video.
4. Creative FX & Special edits
As the name of this final step suggests, we ecnhance our video by adding our creative, original and enertaining special edits. We believe that with combination of steps one (original commentary) and three (Adjusting, trimming clips) we create truly original, entertaining and engaging videos.
To add these creative and special edits, it takes us about 3 hours of daily work on each video. And so videos will be relevant and engaging every time, we come up with a new ideas of editing and learning something new everyday!
