You get excited to start eating healthy. You go to the grocery store, buy a bunch of healthy food, eat it for a week, and then realize that took way too much time. You get discouraged. Discouragement leads to self-doubt, and without even trying for a second week, you give up.

Imagine you are going to your first guitar lesson and your instructor tells you to play “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin. You don’t even know what the name of the steel strings on your guitar are, and here he is telling you to play a 11 minute song?

Right, that’s insane. So why are you trying to meal prep for a whole week when you haven’t even consistently been able to meal prep for a day? Don’t beat yourself for failing to play Stairway to Heaven, learn to play one note, one cord, hell, just strum the damn guitar.
