"Ganesh festival is full of joy and glamour celebrated all over the nation.The faith that the people have in lord Ganesha is phenomenal . Although the 10 days of the festival are quite flamboyant and fun,what follows is dreadful.Almost 95% Ganesh idols are of POP, something that is very harmful for the environment and indirectly the climate.pop doesn't dissolve in water and causes water pollution.
I don't mean to offend anyone but most of you must have put stories on social media regarding Amazon forest and aaret forest,but didn't take any efforts in bringing home a eco-friendly Ganesh idol.What people must understand is that only together ,eventhough we start small , can we bring about a great positive impact on the climate.
