Published 1834, Boston by Thomas Mather. 460 pages. Engraved frontis + six engraved portrait plates with yellow tissue paper guards as issued.

Period full leather binding, ornate gilt decorations and lettering on spine, edges marbled. Small worming holes to covers, but the overall binding remains tight, sound, and maintains a beautiful shelf appearance.

Fine antiquarian book in nice condition, despite the flaws nicer than typical for bindings of this era.

Book measures: 7 5/8" H X 4 3/4" W.
