One Thanksgiving everyone was drinking a lot of wine, including mom, and she admitted on the couch, half out of it, with a HUGE SMILE on her face that she was gay! It was a memorable moment (I'd already known for years, but it might have been a shock to the grandkids). Mom is 87 and has either or both normal "dementia" for an elderly person and/or early to mid-onset Altzheimers that is very under control, and somewhat reversed from two years ago, and somewhat slowed down. Still I see her memory continually slipping, but she has stabilized so much from a good diet, lots of excellent oils like tons of Olive Oil and Coconut Oil all day and Pink Himalayan Salt on every savory meal, no alcohol, and lots of loving care.
