In this video you will see me restore a neglected record bolt cutter. I picked this up from a local market for £3. This tool was extremely rusty and pitted. I handle a lot of rusty tools a this was by far one of the most heavily pitted tools I’ve come across. After many hours of filing and sanding I finally achieved the finish I desired. As a homage to the original condition I left pitting on one of the plates.
