Starting to need RV Repairs - Our Class C RV could use a Fix Up!

Starting to need RV Repairs - Our Class C RV could use a Fix Up! Our RV is starting to need repairs! RV living and RVing across Canada and back has been an adventure but it definitely involves wear and tear! Enjoy the RV travel Vlog + Quebec City and Niagara Falls!

Big days today as we explore Quebec City and Niagara falls guys! It was sad to say goodbye to the Maritimes in Atlantic Canada, but we have to get back West for Luke's court case he has to attend! So after leaving Fundy, the next big stop is indeed Quebec (city).

We were worried it was going to be busy RVing Quebec City, and it was. Thankfully even with summer construction going on, and we caught a midday rush it seemed, we managed to make it to the mall near downtown. Malls always have great RV parking, so we found a good spot at the back to settle into. We chose to park near Jysk, a household kind of store we also expected to have lower turn around of customers than a regular mall entrance as well. Once we were ready to leave the RV at the mall, we were able to catch a bus to get to the downtown core of Quebec city. This was obviously so much easier than trying to navigate a foreign city, in a foreign (to us) language, yet got us right to where we wanted to be. We wanted to see the old architecture of downtown as the main highlight and it was definitely fun to see. Nothing out west in Canada is too old of course historically so that was part of the fun out east.

Once done with the city, it was time to leave Quebec, with our next big goal in mind as Niagara Falls. We knew RVing across Canada that it would have to be a sight to see of course, we had just chosen to save it for on the way back and to not do everything big all heading west. Arriving there, we were lucky enough to find out they allowed us to stay parked overnight! So we got to camp in the RV near the falls them self as well as be a part of the main core, rather than have to commute in an out which was super handy. It was a pretty beautiful tourist area of course, and definitely worth adding to the list of attractions seen, We had wanted to do the boat under the falls, or the walk to the falls but the line ups were HUGE! We would recommend trying to go to those earlier in the day as in the afternoon the line was way out of control looking, far too long for our effort to just pay for a short ride anyway. As a Canadian Niagrara Falls must be one of the top iconic things that comes to mind though, along with the CN Tower, Banff, the Maritimes, and Vancouver / (Island) of course.

We've also had a few things break down on us that will need some RV repairs. Our ol' Clas C RV has definitely seen some use Across Canada and back, but we are hoping that we can manage most of the repairs our self, or with Alysha's Dad's help back in Salmon Arm. Our RV Slide has stopped working, after the slide topper canvas had a spring break that ruined the tension on it. Our RV cabinet latches have been breaking and we want to replace them someday with magnetic ones, the RV slide manual crank broke because it was only taped together, along with all the other joys of RVing that can sometimes break down. It can be a bumpy riad and a house on wheels is definitely going to need maintenance, even more so than a normal house that isnt traveling full time! Rest assured friends it is safe atleast and we will get these looked into! Haha.

Thanks as always for tuning into the RV vlog guys. We really enjoy sharing the RV trip, and RV lifestyle with you all. We'll see you in the next video Wednesday.

Cheers everyone!
Luke and Alysha
