10.07.2019 | 6:35 PM | LA VERNE - A house fire spread to nearby vegetation burning about half an acre, Monday evening. Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire at a home in the 4500 block of Live Oak Canyon Road around 6:35 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a single-story residence with heavy fire showing and began efforts to attack the blaze.
Flames spread nearby vegetation around the home burning about a half acre but was quickly extinguished.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
