Plastic Road: Recovering almost a ton of plastic and transforming it in more efficient roads

Dow participated in the construction of our first Plastic Road in Latin America. The project, done in partnership with VISE and Lasfalto Group, helped to recover almost 1 ton of post-consumer plastic for asphalt improvement (just over 2km of road). It is an official highway in Mexico, in the Uriangato district. It is important to highlight that ElvaloyTM (asphalt additive from Dow’s portfolio) was fundamental to reach the result.
