The former adoptive parents of Natalia Barnett have both pleaded not guilty after being accused of abandoning their Daugher because they believe that Natalia is actually 30 years old. In fact, Michael Barnett's lawyers argue that the two charges of neglect of a dependent should be dismissed because the 5 year statute of limitations expired before the charge was filed.
