Meditation has been around for thousands of years because it works.

To me, meditation is a direct way to revealing the Peace + Fulfillment that lives within regardless of what is going on around you/me/us.

Mediation is a simple practice that you can enjoy anywhere and at any time, to awaken your True Self, or what I refer to as the Diamond Self. 💎

In today's video, we're exploring a simple guide to meditation for beginners, why meditation is important and a core block to successful meditation practice.

☝️of the biggest obstacles to mediation is believing that the goal is to stop thinking. Trying to stop thoughts actually creates more. Every notice that? ;)

Yes, a still mind is often the byproduct of meditation eventually, but clinging to the idea that you can stop thoughts can actually make meditation frustrating and impossible, especially in the beginning.

Since what we resist persists, meditation is a way to come into Acceptance of what is.

You can use meditation to be with your body, your thoughts, your feelings and let them come and go, while continuously bringing your focus back to your breath.

Conscious breathing is the key to meditation.

Remember, you are the Awareness witnessing the thoughts, not the thoughts themselves. It's a return to the innocence we were born as before our minds developed the capacity to think, before we learned to become somebody in order to be valuable.

Your existence is evidence that you ARE valuable without needing to earn it, strive or be anything other than what and who you are.
