A second look at the shipping damaged transmitter. The cabinet is a total loss, however, the main deck and electronics can be repaired. I plan to contact the owner, see if I have a green flag, then refurbish the TX, then locate another cabinet. The transmitter has many problems. Shorted high voltage, missing components, bad capacitors, etc. Nothing time, parts and money cant fix. As you know, I love Johnson equipment, so I am up to the task. Sorry if I gave you all the impression that I had condemned this unit. Yes, it can be repaired. No, I will not bang the cabinet back into shape. The originals are available, so I will go that route.
