Beneath this man-made wooden structures, hard & soft corals grow on the pillars and fishes congregates around the jetty, offering a stunning scene where for once humans seems to have created a place of refuge that benefits the environment. And of course, a great place for wide-angle photography!
Moreover, there is now a coral reef restoration and artificial reef project located right next to the jetty. I'm really looking forward to see more coral and fish life in the future!
Dive deeper beyond the jetty, you will find nice coral bommies with turtles, glassfishes, sweet lips and occasional wobbegong sharks.
Many thanks to Tiaré Cruise for making this trip possible
