Kollam Teen Critically Hurt After Cop Throws Lathi At Him During Vehicle Check| Mathrubhumi News

Kollam: A teenager was grievously injured after a police officer tried to force his bike to a stop at Kanjirammood in Kadakkal Today. A police team was conducting a vehicle check at a turning. At that time, the bike ridden by Sidhiq (19) came through the road. As Sidhiq was not wearing a helmet, the police signalled him to stop but Sidhiq did not stop. On seeing this, Chandramohan, a Civil Police Officer attached to Kadakkal station threw his lathi at the youth. The lathi hit the youth and he lost control of the bike. The motorcycle crashed into a car coming from the opposite direction. Sidhiq was thrown on the road and sustained severe head injuries. He is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
