Miss Nigeria’s reaction to her friend, Miss Jamaica, winning the Miss World crown has gone viral as aOn Saturday, the beauty pageant’s final saw three contestants remain on stage as they waited to find out who would be crowned Miss World 2019, including Miss Nigeria, Nyekachi Douglas, Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh, and Miss Brazil, Elis Coelho.
When Singh was announced as the winner, the 23-year-old stood in shock while her competitor, Douglas, launched into an excited dance for her friend, stomping her feet and shouting her congratulations before embracing the two other finalists with a group hug.


Social media users were quick to comment on Douglas’ reaction, with many praising the behaviour as a display of true friendship.








“In 2020 when your friend starts a new business, podcast, therapy, anything that enhances their life. Be her, Miss Nigeria,” wrote one Twitter user.








Another added: “Absolutely amazing in all my years of watching never seen another queen this excited about someone else's win. #MissNigeria you are simply the best.”
