A group of people gathered Sunday morning to peacefully worship at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement. During the service, a gunman opened fire. The deadly incident was captured on camera, while the service was being live-streamed.
After a lot of conversation, WFAA has decided to show some of the video, with the goal of giving you a sense of how the shooting unfolded.
The video has been edited and blurred but does include sounds of gunshots. A warning, it is upsetting and difficult to watch.
Update: White Settlement police identified the weapon used by the suspect in the shooting as a shotgun during a Sunday night news conference. It had not previously been identified by officials.
