With report of this Union Pacific caboose still at Pacific Harbor Line's Berth 200 yard, we just had to come and see it for ourselves and returned when we had time in the new year. Before reaching the car about 10:30 in the video, we passed by the Union Pacific Los Angeles and BNSF Hobart yard while on route, then we arrive at the Union Pacific ICTF/Dolores/Domiguez yard areas-checking for trains as we go ft. a freshly painted and rebuilt GE leader- before heading down Henry Ford where the caboose was reported and sure enough, Union Pacific CA-11 Caboose 25875 with the "Truckin" slogan stands by at a dead end track viewable from the road. We then head towards the Schuyler F. Heim bridge where we find a BNSF C44-9W shoving a line of autoracks across. After that, we head back to Pacific Harbor Lines's Berth 200 yard along Alameda St. where we captured private railcars Tioga Pass, Redwood Empire, Pacific Sands, Montana and Yerba Buena all stored on one track while a bunch of engines sits by the maintenance shed including EMD24B/GP22T4 prototype PRLX now PHL 24 among them as well as the caboose seen in the distance. The caboose has a truly unknown fate but some fear it may be bound for scrap. After taking some shots, we made our way to BNSF's Watson yard at Pacific Coast Highway where a pair of Norfolk Southern engines 9174 and 9925 are among a bunch of BNSF orange engines. We then get back on the road towards UP Dolores yard where we do one last overpass shot of the yard spotting a huge amount of stored power there much of them being SD60 series engines.
