Preston Park Pullman Works, a few years before demolition. The former Preston Park Pullman Works which were built in 1898 and located near Brighton. Carriages were built/maintained here until the works closed in 1963. There were plans for a museum but the site was difficult to access and the building was eventually abandoned until demolition in late 2008. In this video we see the works from the 'Carriage Road' between Preston Park and Brighton stations, the ancient stock within and finally the view of the site from the 'Cliftonville Spur' between Hove and Preston Park stations.
