Transforming Visions into Productive Outcomes: Emotional Commitment and Shared Action (Part 1) Introduction
Transforming Visions into Productive Outcomes: Emotional Commitment and Shared Action

Presenters: Thomas L. Hoffmann and David Chaudron, Ph.D.

The theory and practice of creating visions within organizations as a strategy to align structures and resources into desirable outcomes has expanded in recent years with the increasingly complex and competitive business and productive environment we see around the world. Numerous models and methods for carrying out visioning programs have bee proposed, but quite often the outcomes fall short of productive action and concrete results. Many organizations create and publish their vision, mission and goal statements mainly as an image or "logo" for their intentions, not as a commitment for action.

This videoconference will address the issue of transforming visions into concrete outcomes in education, business and government. The internationally recognized invited speaker will discuss the importance of emotional commitment and cultural synergy, and will propose a methodology that enhances follow-up participation at various organizational levels. Without shared conviction, visions cannot be transformed into achievement and success.
