Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain HE Sheikh Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani took Russia’s new luxury Aurus car for a spin after a meeting of the Russia-Bahrain Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Moscow on Friday.
Sheikh Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani said that he was “very much” impressed with the car, saying that it both looks and smells “like a Bentley.”
Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov assured the Bahraini minster that it’s based on the “Soviet edition of the ZIS."
Manturov said that the hybrid car is equipped with a 600-horsepower engine, supplemented by a 100-horsepower electric motor. He also explained that the car’s name “Aurus” means “Golden Russia” in which “Au” stands for “gold” and “Rus” stands for “Russia.”
