CU Board of Regents' May 2 meeting selecting Mark Kennedy as 23rd president

DENVER - The University of Colorado Board of Regents on May 2 named Mark Kennedy as the institution’s 23rd president. Kennedy was chosen by a 5-4 vote, with Regents Sue Sharkey, Glen Gallegos, Heidi Ganahl, Chance Hill and John Carson voting in favor; and Regents Linda Shoemaker, Lesley Smith, Jack Kroll and Irene Griego voting against.
