Nick and Erin originally built out a van for the two of them but soon found themselves in the van conversion business called Suha Design. Nick a craftsmen and Erin working on private plane charters both call Encinitas, CA their home base and create 4-5 custom build outs a year. The two of them are great partners for this business; Erin is the one who designs the builds for the client and Nick goes to work creating whatever the client is looking for. They also designed and built their own 2017 144 Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van. In this van tour you’ll see a work of art and a lot of wood used. Nick used cedar on ceilings and pine on the walls to have contrast and really make the van pop. Inside the galley you’ll find a sink, fridge and cabinets but something you don’t typically see is the walnut slab countertop with live edge. This van life couple can be completely off-grid with their solar power and ability to take a hot water shower off the back as well as a cassette toilette just in case. The true surfer inside him made sure every size board could fit inside so he is ready for any types of waves and conditions.
