1st (English-language) RECORDING OF: (All Of A Sudden) My Heart Sings - Hildegarde (1944)

Adapted from the French song “Mia Mie,” this ballad was performed by Kathryn Grayson in the 1945 MGM film “Anchors Aweigh” and later enjoyed a 1958-59 revival with Paul Anka’s dramatic hit version (listen here: )
