If you always think like an overweight person trying to lose weight then you'll always be an overweight person.
If you think of yourself as a person living a leaner healthier life then you will assume that identity and the weight loss will come very easily.
Think 'what would a leaner person do in this situation' when you are faced with an everyday choice. Do that and you'll always make votes for your leaner body and you'll become that leaner body.
