Markovnikov's rule: Addition of Hydrogen Halide to Alkene and Hammond's postulate.

Markovnikov's rule: Addition of Hydrogen Halide to Alkene and Hammond's postulate. In this video lecture, I have described about Markovnikov's rule. This rule is a guideline for addition of unsymmetrical substrate (here Hydrogen halide) to the C=C double bond. I have also explained this electrophilic addition reaction mechanism using the Hammond's postulate. Finally, I have described some examples which will be helpful for the complete understanding of the concept. In the next video, I have uploaded the anti- Markovnikov's rule. Students are also requested to watch that video.
