5 Teams to Manage in Football Manager 2020

5 Teams to Manage in Football Manager 2020 Five Teams To Be on FM2020. With the release of the latest football manager, we’ll be looking at five teams to be on football manager 2020. It’s not always easy to pick the right team on FM and we’ve got five sides from across.

We head to the Serie A for our first side, Napoli. Already walking into brilliant centre of the pitch with Kalidou Koulibaly & Fabian Ruiz, and Alex Meret in goal too - giving you a solid spine to the side. Hirving Lozano in particular has been one of the best wonderkids in the world in the last couple of games and it’ll be fun to see what kind of output you can get out of the versatile winger in FM20. The 23-year-old has five star potential which is hardly a surprise given that he was directly involved in 25 goals in 30 Eredivisie appearances last season and the Mexican could well become one of the very best attackers on the game if nurtured correctly. You’ve also got around £28m to play with in your first season - which is enough to bring in a couple of good young players if you get your scouting right. With Brescia’s Sandro Tonelli a good signing that’s well within the club’s transfer budget but equally, playing a 4-2-3-1 with Hakim Ziyech at the tip could be beautiful in Naples.

Tottenham Hotspur & Atletico Madrid are more of a long-term option. Atleti are in the midst of an overhaul themselves but are definitely a bit further along in that process than Tottenham - with key members of the club’s historic title winning side moving on this summer in the form of Antoine Griezmann and Diego Godin. There’s virtually no cash left in the bank with Atleti having spent over £200m in the summer transfer window. You will have an exciting group of players to work with the likes of Joao felix, Thomas Lemar and Thomas Partey - you could change Atletico’s style and look to rebuild through the tactical side, before heading into the next transfer window - to challenge with the giants of LaLiga Real Madrid & Barcelona. Taking over at Spurs is a bit of a long term challenge, needing to move on some wantaway stars in Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Eriksen but there are already some really high potential players at Spurs with new signings, Ryan Sessegnon, Lo Celso and Ndombele able to form a good spine to the team. Again you might not have the budget, since Spurs did spend over the summer transfer window. So moving some of those high profile players, could allow you to bring in the money to build an exciting team to challenge in the league and Europe.

Lyon & Rb Leipzig are my go to sides for this year’s football manager.he idea of trying to end PSG’s domestic dominance is daunting, but at least with this current Lyon side you can have fun whilst trying. The biggest difficulty here will be keeping hold of your key assets - with plenty of interest in Moussa Dembele. Two-way midfielder Houssem Aour and the reformed Memphis Depay may also be difficult to keep hold of if some of the bigger sides across Europe come calling. This side is fundamentally a lot of fun, though: they have an excellent ball-playing centre back pairing in Denayer and Andersen, some great ball-carriers in Reine-Adelaide and Aouar and a lot of explosive talent up top. You’ll have around £30m to spend in your first window in France + whatever money you make should you sell some of the talented youngsters at the club. It could be fun to try to find a system that works for Lyon in Europe’s elite competition. The main aim is clear though - put an end to PSG’s monopoly on Ligue 1.

As for our number one option Rb Leipizg, currently managed by the great Julain Naagelsmanm- Leipzig are tactically one of the most interesting teams on the continent right now and you could have a genuine chance of challenging Bayern Munich over the course of the Bundesliga season. A setup with the likes of Timo Werner, Yussuf Poulsen and especially the exciting young french defensive lines of Dayot Upamecano, Nordi Mukiele and Ibrahima Konate - you could really something around this German side and try to overtake the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
