Camping At The Stick Hut Shelter In Early October: Temporary Bed & Bench

I had intended on building a permanent raised bed for the stick hut shelter but went with a temporary solution. Due to a lack of time i ended up building the raised bed just 6 inches off the ground rather than something much higher and sturdier. I also came across some dense hard wood that worked well for a bench and firewood. Most of the trip was damp and rainy but i had a great time cooking up a steak with beans and bacon by the fire.
