Chappals Chappals is Bringing a Part of India’s Culture to Vancouver

Get to know founder Nik Verma as she opens up about how she got started selling handcrafted leather shoes from India. Brought to you by GoDaddy.

Nik first discovered chappals while visiting India and immediately fell in love with their style, durability and comfort. She picked up a few extra pairs, taking them back to Vancouver to sell at local markets. The shoes were a hit, and soon Nik was offering three different styles of chappals, each named for the international places that inspire her. Every pair of slides and sandals is handmade with care by artisans and uniquely designed for its own adventure, from walking the shore to traveling and exploring new places.
