LUKE 21: 25-28 - King James Bible
25- And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26- Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27- And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28- And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
We live in the latter days friends, and if you wish to escape the terrifying days ahead I would suggest that you reconsider the direction that your life is taking. The signs are all around us and bible prophecy is being fulfilled every week. Israel is a nation again, Russia is in the Middle East.
Europe is becoming truly united with the Vatican as its spiritual head. Britain has separated from Europe. Persia, Turkey and Libya are becoming more aggressive and aligning themselves with Russia.
Earthquakes and natural disasters are more frequent and are intensifying in strength, global warming, declining habitats, a global slowdown is happening now, species genocide and pollution are a worrying trend. Crime and violence is on the increase. Children do not respect their parents, and love is just a by-word.
Evil days and despair are ahead for this Earth, far worse than you can imagine. And men will plead with God to end their lives rather than face his wrath.
Revelation 6-15-17 - King James Bible
15 - And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 - And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 -For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
BUT WAIT, THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
There is hope - Jesus spoke often about the kingdom of God and his return to set up his everlasting Kingdom.
Use your imagination for a moment! Think of a world at peace, its inhabitants healthy and well-fed and doing rewarding work.
Imagine a world in which there is full employment, where people are not exploited and where a man can live a long and prosperous life; a world in which famine and pestilence no longer kill one quarter of the population and where the full resources of the land and the seas are harvested. Already you are getting a picture of the Kingdom of God.
Now ponder on the absence of religious bigotry or sectarian strife; imagine the benefits of internationally accepted laws, with justice administered by fair-minded yet uncompromising judges.
Conjure up a mental picture of life without terrorism and child-abuse; where good-neighbourliness prevails and evil tendencies are discouraged, where governments establish good standards of behaviour, and implement just forms of retribution. That will be the kingdom of God on earth!
Too many people, the Kingdom of God is just a vague hope that one day man will bring about a state of happiness on earth. To others, the Kingdom is a dream of heavenly bliss in the skies. But the realist knows that the aspirations of men are not producing a better world for us or our children.
And anyone who reads his Bible carefully knows that there is no evidence for the common belief in an afterlife in heaven. The Kingdom has to do with a real, tangible world empire which will be set up when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to earth from heaven in the near future.
We may find it difficult to think that far ahead, or to visualise what is meant by God being "all in all". But it will be the climax of the Creator's great purpose with the earth -- and it will be very wonderful!
Numbers 14:21 -King James Bible
"As truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord".
Don't let this marvellous future slip away from you! Jesus will be here soon. Please, read your Bible, and pray with all your heart:
"Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven".
