The second phase of the government''s free flu vaccination program was launched on Sunday, but it has not been without complaints. Reports have emerged that health centers in Taoyuan and Taitung have been sued by members of the public who were unable to get a shot. Health Minister Chen Shih-chung came out to clarify that the supply of vaccines was sufficient and that only one third of the 31 and a half million available doses had been used up. The problem this time, he said, was probably caused by poor delivery coordination. Chen urged seniors 65 or older and pre-school children to get their free shots as soon as possible.
