Korea Focus: Shin Saindang Birth Place (신사인당 생가: 오죽헌)

This is a video of me strolling around Ojukheon (오죽헌), which is the birthplace of Sin Saindang (신사인당) and her son Yulgok Yi I (율곡이이). The two are two of the most influential figures in Korean history, and the mother is an embodiment of what Korean people call a perfect mother.

Shin Saindang (신사인당) is the woman on the 50,000 won bill.
Yulgok Yi I (율곡이이) is the man on the 5,000 won bill.
