Assam police gears up ahead of final NRC publication; security stepped up in sensitive areas

Assam DGP Kuladhar Saikia who was present in the review meeting said that the issue of ensuring peace in the wake of final #NRC publication was widely discussed in the meeting.
During the course, the Deputy Commissioners and the Superintendent of Police of all the districts were asked to ensure proper maintenance of law and order at all costs.
