In this video we are talking about how to take action after watching The Green Cannabis Packaging Series.
Let's refer to this as planting the seeds for sustainability.
There are three important steps to consider.
Number one is to "Create a solid green strategy."
Todays consumer is becoming very educated. If you watched the green series you may know more than 90% of people for now but it will be common knowledge in the coming months. The days of greenwashing non sustainable packaging and fooling green minded consumers are over. Greenwashing will backfire as the consumer becomes more educated and realizes what you’ve been doing. The second thing to now consider is "What is your motive?"
Have you always hoped to be sustainable but, when it came time for action, you failed to follow through?
Is it the case your consumers are asking for it?
Is there a certain path from the Green Cannabis Packaging Series that appeals to you the most?
Understanding your companies motivation is important in considering next steps and solutions.
The third thing to consider is "How do you want people to feel when they look at your brand?"
Some companies are fashion forward and get nervous when talking about using sustainable materials. What comes to some minds when we say sustainable is earthy, dull and crunchy. We don’t need to give you the sustainable look, it can be sustainable and still be beautiful.
